ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN
Ultrasound Technicians are trained to operate ultrasound equipment and to look for abnormal problem areas in an image. They must ensure the image is clear enough for the healthcare provider to make an accurate diagnosis. They may be required to obtain measurements, perform calculations and evaluate the results.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
Several options: 1- year certificate; 2-year associate’s degree; 4-year bachelor’s degree
