LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Licensed Clinical Social Workers with clients in order help them deal with issues involving mental and emotional health. There are a wide variety of specializations you can focus on: mental health issues, substance abuse, public health, school social work, medical social work, marriage counseling or children/family therapy.
You need to earn a Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field such as psychology, child development, social work or sociology. Next you need to earn your Masters of Social Work degree. Some states require you to accumulated supervised clinical experience. Finally you must pass the social work licensure exam.
