Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) care for the sick or injured in emergency medical settings. People’s lives often depend on the quick reaction and competent care these workers provide. EMTs respond to emergency calls, perform medical services, and transport patients to medical facilities.

Students enrolled in the Emergency Medical Services program are encouraged to participate in the HOSA - Future Health Professionals student organizational. HOSA activities include: Leadership, community service, and state and national competitive events.

You must pass state EMS skill and written exam in order to register with the state of Oklahoma or a nationally accredited test for EMR license.

Must pass a criminal background check.
