Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) respond to emergency calls, treat patients in emergency medical and trauma situations, and transport them to medical facilities.

Students enrolled in the Emergency Medical Services program are encouraged to participate in the HOSA - Future Health Professionals student organizational. HOSA activities include: Leadership, community service, and state and national competitive events.

You must pass state EMS skill and written exam in order to register with the state of Oklahoma or a nationally accredited test for EMR license.

Must pass a criminal background check.

72 hours of training in Theory and Lab.
