EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER
Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) respond to emergency calls performing basic treatment to patients in emergency medical and trauma situations and transporting them to medical facilities.
Must attend an approved training program; Accredited by the Oklahoma and National EMS agency through the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. You must pass state EMS skill and written exam in order to register with the state of Oklahoma or a nationally accredited test for EMR license. Must pass a criminal background check.
72 hours of training in Theory and Lab.
Skill performance with a written exam.
