CERTIFIED CODING ASSOCIATE

(CCA)

You are responsible for reviewing patients’ medical records and applying codes based on diagnosis and treatment for reimbursement and research purposes. You may also be responsible for maintaining medical records.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

You need a high school diploma to sit for the CCA certification exam.
