ADVANCED PRACTICE REGISTERED NURSE
(APRN)
An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is at the top of the nursing ladder. APRNs are specialized RNs including Nurse Anesthetists, Nurse Midwives, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Nurse Practitioners.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
APRNs must hold a national certification, be state licensed, and hold a master’s degree in on of the APRN specialties.
